“Embarquement pour Cythère” – Mathilde Humbert – Second Prize, 2017 edition
The Mathias Prize, organised by the MATIÈRES LIBRES Association, supports young creators, students from applied arts schools, craft schools, or self-taught artists. The jury is chosen from leading figures in applied arts, design, decoration and the media, as well as business leaders. They meet to select the three most accomplished and original projects featuring a bold use of materials. The jury's "Favourites" and Maison Baccarat's "Alchemy of Joy" prize are also selected on this occasion.
